STRONGMAN/STRENGTH CONDITIONING MEDLEY ROTATION
This particular medley is a combination of 2 strongman events and 2 traditional strength movements. We utilzed the Yoke Walk and the Farmer's Walk as the strongman events and the Back Squat for the Lower Body Movement and the Deadlift for the Total Body Movement. We utilze these types of medley for metabolic conditioning variations during transitional periods of training. This particular training varies in sets/reps and rest time. Generally as a rule of thumb we will do set of 5 in the strength movements and anywhere from 60-90 feet in the strongman events. This will be done for 5-10 rounds/intervals of all 4 events ona 90 second turnaround. Turnaround = every 90 seconds an event or movement is started. This does not mean 90 seconds of rest between sets. Rest and Work combine for 90 seconds
